"hnl" is the shortname for Health and Sustainable LifeStyle

To achieve Substainable LifeStyle, three major areas are considered in long-term, they are Healthy Mind(hMind), Healthy Body(hBody) and Healthy Environment(hEnv).

In addition, the concept of Quality Of Life (QoL) is promoted so as to establish the standard(s) and provide the mechanism for measuring and monitoring quality of the Commonly-Agreed Green LifeStyle.

痛的啟示

巴基斯坦有個家族，六名年輕的新一代均無痛覺。其中一名十四歲成員，最近因亡命表演，從屋頂跳下喪生。由基因異變引致失去痛覺的現象，引起科學家的興趣，並認為研究可造福社會，製造特效藥去紓緩痛症。
正常人都有五感官（分別是視、聽、嗅、味、觸覺）去搜集外來資訊，從而認識萬物。痛的滋味並不好受，可是它卻驅使我們遠離痛苦和危險，使我們能懂得自我保護和繼續生存。沒有痛楚的人，不只容易受傷，更不知道危險，連身體出現病變的訊號（如內臟劇痛等），也不懂得去求醫。該巴基斯坦無痛青年，就是在無痛和無危機感下，斷送了寶貴的生命。


「生於憂患，死於安樂」

人在憂患中能發憤圖強而得以生存，處於順境反而容易耽於逸樂而招致滅亡。

堅韌性格（Hardiness）

  • 要令自己快樂，生活更有意義的秘訣是﹕ 要愛惜和欣賞自己，還要培養堅韌性格（Hardiness）。只要你愛惜自己，就不容許自己生活放縱，使身體經歷無必要的壓力。懂得欣賞自己，就會肯定自己為每項工作所付出的努力，你還要經常想方法去獎勵自己，確認自己的成就。這樣做不但可刺激正面情緒，還讓你覺得人生充滿意義。
  • 堅韌人格包括控制、承諾和挑戰。當你遇上挑戰，首先要承諾去解決它，並要想方法去控制每一項能解決問題的因素。努力培養堅韌的性格，你就擁有更多資源和策略，去掌控自己的人生。

Synchronicity(共時性原理)

-- 近月差不多數天就有涉及貨車倒車撞死人的新聞，意外發生的頻密程度，實在使人驚訝。
-- 職業司機駕駛習慣不良、貨車設計盲點多、貨物起卸安排有欠安全等問題存在已久，為何這些問題所引致的後果，以前不是經常發生，而偏偏集中在這段日子相繼出現呢﹖
-- 如果今天是果、昨天是因，那又應該如何解釋像是傳染病一樣的倒車撞死人事件呢﹖
-- 對潛意識研究有深遠影響的心理學家容格（Carl G. Jung）以中國《易經》的理念，提出了「共時性原理」（Synchronicity）。所謂「共時性」是指兩種或以上的事件，表面上沒有聯繫，但實際上又有超然的關係，當中具有意義上的巧合。
-- 「共時性」理念實在有助人們跳出線性思考的樊籠。
-- 政府傾向以教育和宣傳方法去處理倒車撞死人的問題，可是近月在傳媒不斷的報道下，也沒有減低貨車撞死人的意外。
-- 如果事件的「共時性」具有更深層次的意義，當中的玄機，可能是道出當局不能再以迴避的手法，去處理社會的潛在問題吧﹗
