Paypal:How to apply a lower merchant rate?

• Here is the procedures:

1. Log in to your PayPal account.
2. Click "Profile" -> Account Information -> Merchant Fees
3. Scroll down to the bottom, click "Apply Now"
4. That's it!

6. Click “Fees” at the bottom of the page.
7. Click “1.9% to 2.9% + $0.30 USD” under “Get paid.”
8. Click “View merchant rate criteria” near the bottom of the page.
9. Click “Apply now,” then complete the merchant rate application.
10. Read and accept the User Agreement, and then click “Submit.”

• Before the application, you should checked that:

1. Your net payment volume for the previous calendar month is more than $3,000.
2. Your PayPal account does not have unresolved chargeback’s or has beenlimited.
3. Your PayPal account has registered more than 30 days.

• Available Merchant Rates:

Lower than HK$25,000 (US$3000)	3.4% + HK$2.35	HK$2.69 (26.9%)	HK$3.03 (15.15%)	HK$3.37 (10.23%)	HK$5.75 (5.75%)	HK$36.35 (3.64%)
HK$25,000-$75,000	2.9% + HK$2.35
HK$75,000-$750,000	2.7% + HK$2.35
HK$750,000 or above	2.4% + HK$2.35

-> Note: VISA or Master charge Paypal a service fee of 2%

• Virtual Terminal: additional 0.5% + $200/mth
• Overseas Card: additional 0.5%
