Photobie Specification
Default DPI
- Photobie is default to 96 DPI.
- it is close to 100 DPI with which you can calculate the actual pixels for A4 sized page (210 x297mm or 8.27 x11.69inch). --> i.e. 794 x1122pixels for a A4 page
- However, such DPI only matters for final printing, if you need different DPI, you can use Photofiltre to change it and print it. Photofiltre has very good printing features, you may find it very helpful.

Merging Images
How to put several images into a single A4 page?
- Simple Method: I first created a blank file the size I wanted. Then I opened three other pictures, and selected image region one at a time of course. Copied that selection, chose my blank file, pasted new layer. Then I repeated this for each one.
- Just to make things easier to look at, I then closed all except the new file. Positioned my layers where I wanted them and then "flattened" my new layers into one.

How to select the wanted circular object and cut it out?
- Just click the Photobie menu "selection" -> "Circle" -> select the wanted earth -> "copy" -> "paste into new image" -> That's it!

Quick Watermark
- The quick way to accomplish this is to make a customized brush with the text or image you want for watermark, and then use apply the brush on your image.
- Making a customized brushes: All you need to do is to put a brush image (.jpg) file within the "brushes" directory of Photobie program.
Such brush image will be grayscaled then. thus you brush image should have light color as background. The best brush image size is 80X80 pixels.
- To apply brushes, simply click on the shape brush button on the paint toolbar, then an brush panel pop up, then select the brush image and adjust those options, and draw on the destination image.
